This film takes place in Los Angeles and focuses on juvenile “delinquent” teenagers in 1955. I picked it to review because I love the film, even though the performances are a bit unsettling at times. My wife and I are going to LA for the weekend to celebrate our 16th anniversary. One place we will be going is a prominent setting in the film: The Griffith Observatory. I think this film brings out the truth in adolescence, even its “storms.” Highlights include a star studded cast and a very engaging script. There’s a reason this film is so famous. James Dean and Natalie Wood are the leads in this film, it is inspiring to watch them both. I hope you enjoy my talk on this film. Feel free to join me in the comments.
